I’ve been researching online photo magazines lately and I came across Burn a couple of months ago. It’s really inspiring. I’m totally not the photojournalist type. With a few exceptions, most of the ones that I have met have been “that jerk pushing people sticking a camera in everyone’s face” kind of person. To be fair sometimes that’s what it takes to get the shot, and getting the shot is sort of their job. Still, it just puts me off. On the other hand I wish I could be a little less shy about taking pictures of people in public. Clearly you can do it without being a jerk. There is a medium.
