Every year during the summer, dogs die after being left in hot cars. This is mostly due to the fact that their owners underestimate not only how hot, but also how fast their cars reach dangerous temperatures. Even with the windows left slightly open.
For this video I cooled a car down to a comfortable temperature on an 80 degree day. Then I parked it on a typical parking lot with no shade. I placed a thermometer and a clock on the dashboard and set a camera up on the hood pointing at them. You can see that in a matter of minuets the temperature gets so high that it maxes out the thermometer.
Role: Producer/Videographer
I set up and shot this myself in about an hour or two. I cut and sped up the footage of the clock/thermometer and our editor did the rest. It was finished and approved by the end of the day.
