I don’t keep it a secret that Robert Frank is a hero of mine. The photo from The Americans of the elevator girl has been a favorite picture of his. I came across this story this morning. It’s really great. I alway love hearing the back story on photographs. Sometimes it makes them better, sometime it totally ruins them, but it always make you look at the image differently. This one makes it better I think.
